Hello! I'm Sasha also known as 052186 on ACC. I fell in love with Animal Crossing: Wild World in 2006 when it was released for the Nintendo DS. I have always been a fan of The Sims so when I saw Animal Crossing and the super cute graphics I knew that it was a game that I had to try out! I love everything about the game: the realistic features, the duties and responsibilities that are made fun, the different personalities of the characters, the freedom of customizing and personalizing things, the weekly events, and the ability to connect and interact with other players. I think that all of these qualities are what makes this game so addicting!

 

One of my favorite thing to do on Animal Crossing is SHOPPING! I love looking forward to the clothes and shoes that are in the shops. I also love the idea of mixing and matching outfits! 

Shawntrick01's Story

 

What's up? The name is Shawn, alias, Shawntrick01 on ACC.

 

I started playing Animal Crossing back in 2006. My obsession began with Wild World. Everything was new to me, but familiar at the same time. Gameplay wise, it felt like The Sims series. Design wise, it was a breath of fresh air. The cartoon-ish characters and environment added with time based on reality, giving the game a sense of limited opportunities, was features I've never experienced in a game. I was hooked the moment I paid off my first house loan and was freed from Tom Nook's tyranny.

 

After the next few years, City Folks was announced for the Wii, and I was exhilarated for the game to be released. However, once I got my hands on it, it wasn't as fulfilling as Wild World. It was missing the mobility to bring it anywhere possible and playing it only at home definitely killed the obsession.

 

Now that New Leaf has begun, the game has once again revved up the addiction. I can't stop no matter how tiring I get. And here I am, making bells, paying off loans, and meeting new people.
